Старший лейтенант погиб 17 августа 2022 возле села Красновка Херсонской области. Офицер попал под ракетный обстрел, выполняя боевое задание по прикрытию воздушного пространства области. Ему было 28 лет. Дмитрий родился в селе Сурско-Михайловка Днепропетровской области. После школы избрал путь военного. Окончил Харьковский национальный университет Воздушных Сил имени Ивана Кожедуба. После выпуска парень попал на службу в 38-й зенитный ракетный полк имени генерал-хорунжего Юрия Тютюнника Вооруженных сил Украины. Получил позывной Соловей.
