19.07.1978. Из Черновцов Винницкой области. Майор бортовой авиатехники, авиаинструктор вертолетной эскадрильи 456 БрТрА. Инструктор бригадно-транспортной авиации вертолетной эскадрильи, майор. Погиб на неделе 7-14.11.2022.
21.11.2022 стали известны имена пилотов вертолета Ми-8, сбитого ВС РФ в Донецкой Народной Республике 11 ноября 2022 года: полк. Сергей Хомик, командир эскадрильи 456-й бригады транспортной авиации ВВС Украины, и майор Виктор Пеньковый.
