Сергей Савчук родился в Ровно. Учился в УПК №12 и лицее "Элитар", затем поступил в Национальный университет водного хозяйства и природопользования на специальность "гидротехническое строительство". После окончания военной кафедры в с 2014 году Сергея призвали на службу в пограничных войсках В апреле 2022 года снова был призван в ряды Вооруженных сил Украины. Командир взвода, старший лейтенант Сергей Савчук погиб 21 января 2022г. во время ведения боевых действий в районе Соледара на Донбассе. .
