Родился 8 ноября 1992 года в селе Миляновичи Турийщины. Был членом молодежной общественной организации "Национальный Альянс". Участник Революции Достоинства. Добровольцем в феврале 2022 пошел в армию, служил в воинской части А7063. Проходил военное обучение на полигоне в Латвии.

С 7 мая 2023 - командир стрелкового отделения, с 5 июня - старший стрелок батальона специального назначения "Донбасс" (военная часть А3035). 25 июля 2023 года, выполняя боевое задание у поселка Кузьмино Северодонецкого района Луганской области, младший сержант Олег Олесь погиб
