Майор Николай Сенкевич погиб 29 октября 2023 во время выполнения боевого задания на Купянском направлении.
В 2016 году мужчина пошел на контрактную службу в 14-ю отдельную механизированную бригаду им. князя Романа Великого, с которой прошел весь свой боевой путь, растя профессионально от командира взвода до командира батальона. Воин участвовал в АТО/ООС.
После двух ранений он каждый раз возвращался в строй.
