Воевал в рядах ВСУ в 2015-2016 годах, отличился в боях за Марьинку и Пески.
Был оператором телеканала "Прямой".
Погиб в боях за освобождение Балаклеи.
24 февраля записался в 206 батальон терробороны Киева, далее в бригаду Богуна поехал воевать на Харьковщину.
Главнокомандующий ВСУ Валерий Залужный посмертно наградил "Серебряным крестом" Алексея Юрченко.
Звание - Младший лейтенант
