Старший солдат Юрий Штепа родился 25 июня 1988 года в городе Бахмач. Проходил военную подготовку в Германии. Служил в составе одного из подразделений воинской части А4674. Погиб 5 сентября 2023 во время выполнения боевого задания на Запорожье в результате вражеских артиллерийских обстрелов. Простились и похоронили Юрия на кладбище в родном городе.
