Пропал 28.03.2022 в районе с. Каменка Изюмского р-на Харьковской области. В сентябре 2022 захоронен, как неизвестный, в Днепропетровске. После ДНР-экспертизы опознан и похоронен 01.06.2023 в Романовской ТО. Официальная дата смерти -- 27.03.2022.

Брат погибшего ранее Павла Трубия.
