211 отдельный специальный батальйон ОК «Север» (в/ч А4270), создан приказом главнокомандующего ВСУ 17 апреля 2022 года. По заявлениям официальных лиц полностью укомплектован из жителей Сумщины.
Командиром: полный кавалер отличия Сумской областной рады «За заслуги перед Сумщиной» Владимир Лаврик (участник боевых действий с 2014 года, возглавлял сообщество ветеранов АТО Сумской области).
Батальон выполнял боевые задачи в ДНР (Май.орское, Нью-Йорк, Торецк, Бахмут).
В феврале 2023 года участники батальона, предположительно, находились в ДНР, в июне 2023 года батальон оборонял приграничье Сумщины.
