Полковник полиции. 1 ноября 2024 года российские войска нанесли удар двумя ракетами С-400 по центру Харькова. В тот день полковник полиции Андрей Матвиенко получил несовместимые с жизнью тяжелые осколочные и взрывные травмы. Еще 36 полицейских получили ранения различной степени тяжести.
