Участник боевых действий с 2014 года. Отдельный полк "Азов" в/ч 3053 НГУ. Звонил матерям погибших русских солдат и издевался над ними. В какой-то момент был ранен и лишился глаза. 24.09.2022 появилась информация о том, что погиб. Впрочем, потом выяснилось, что погиб его побратим, а сам Зализняк сбежал из зоны боевых действий. Его брат погиб не позднее 27 мая.
