С начала СВО выполнял боевые задачи в различных регионах Украины (Борисполь, Изюм, Пологи, Краснополовка, Дмитровка), поддерживал боевые действия пехоты. В составе экипажа с Игорем Хмарой выполнил 14 боевых вылетов. 19.05.2022 года его самолет Су-24 был сбит у поселка Липовое Донецкой области. Награжден орденом "За мужество" 3 степени.
